To make it official...

Your next step is to follow the directions below to purchase and download your Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate from the State's website.  If you have any problems, please call or email us as we are happy to help you with this.

How to purchase and download your Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate

Go to the Connecticut's Online Sportsman Licensing Page
Sign in using your Conservation ID
Click “Next” on the PC or “Enter Sales” on the Mobile
Click “Boating” on the upper menu that appears
Click “Add” Safe Waterski Endorsement (SWE)*

*If you are under 16 years old, you must wait until the day you turn 16 to add the SWE.  If you go in and pay now, no money will be needed when you turn 16, just sign in, add the SWE and “Reprint” your certificate.  Remember you are not official until you go in and pay.

Click “Add” CPWO $50.00
Click “Next”
Then fill out the payment information...the easy part!

Please keep in mind

There is a one-time administrative fee of $50
It is a PDF Instant Download
You Print it, save it, and sign it. NOTHING COMES IN THE MAIL
This is called a CPWO now and not “Boaters License”
You are issued a “CPWO Certificate #” this includes boating
Must be always with you while operating a Vessel or PWC

Please take a minute to fill out our brief 9 Question Feedback Survey when you are ready as your opinion matters to us.
